Our latest project:
The European Maritime Day (EMD) is celebrated annually in all European countries on the 20th of May. Each year a two-day conference takes place in a European city, and members of the maritime community, organisations, NGO’s, academia, and all interested partners meet to network, exchange knowledge and ideas, and design joint actions for a sustainable blue economy.
Apart from the EMD conference, events are organised all around Europe (#EMDinMyCountry) aiming at raising European citizens’ awareness of the seas and their importance.
Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), represented by the School of Journalism and Mass Communications (SJMC), participates with a university project entitled ‘SUSTAINABLE COASTAL AND MARITIME TOURISM.’ Read more….
